Instruments: fixed deposits, money market funds, bonds, insurance-based annuities, treasury notes, government-issued debt.

Growth – emphasis on capital appreciation with some consideration for yield.
Instruments: convertible bonds, equities, equity mutual funds.

Dynamic – aggressive emphasis on capital gains.
Instruments: speculative equities.
